Deep Cycle Batteries
| Our deep cycle batteries are Flooded Lead Acid type. They are designed and manufactured for solar applications. These batteries have very thick solid or tubular plates required for long cycle life. They are designed for cycle life in the range of 1500 to 2000 cycles at 50% depth of discharge. This translates to 4 to 5 years of operation - and higher at shallower depths of discharge. We do not recommend maintenance free batteries in accessible areas, due to their lower cycle life expectancy. | |
